The 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser has been officially unveiled today, with the Japanese car manufacturer releasing its full details, specifications and equipment list. For the 2013MY Land Cruiser, Toyota developed a fresh new design, for both the SUV's interior and exterior. At the front, the 2013 Land Cruiser has a new grille and re-styled headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. Toyota also redesigned the 2013 Land Cruiser's chrome side moldings, its side mirrors and its taillamps. The Land Cruiser 2013 shows a more muscular look, with wider fenders and more rugged lines. For protecting the engine and rear end of the 4x4, Toyota equips it with sturdy underbody panels.

For the interior of the 2013 Land Cruiser, Toyota prepared ventilated front seats covered in perforated leather and higher quality wood and chrome trim parts. The Toyota Land Cruiser 2013 is now equipped with a Multi-terrain Monitor with 360 degrees views, a Multi-information Display, an Eco Driving Indicator, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

The 2013 Land Cruiser is able to carry up to eight passengers, thanks to a third row of seats. In case you'll travel with children on-board, the Land Cruiser 2013 offers the Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) child seat attachment system.



Toyota powers the 2013 Land Cruiser with a 5.7-liter V8 DOHC engine, which has an output of 381 hp at 5,600 rpm and 401 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm. The engine is equipped with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) and an Acoustic Control Induction System (ACIS). AS expected, the new Land Cruiser is equipped with a full-time four-wheel drive system and a 6-speed ECT automatic transmission with sequential shift mode.

For off-road duty, the 2013 Land Cruiser is offering the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), the Multi-terrain Select system, a TORSEN limited-slip locking center differential, and the five-speed CRAWL Control with an Off-Road Turn Assist feature.

The 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser comes with an all the safety features you would expect from a modern vehicle. Apart from those, the new Land Cruiser also comes with a newly developed STAR Safety System. This four-wheel multi-terrain anti-lock braking system (ABS) which is able to optimize the amount of force applied, in accordance with the running surface.
