2014 Mercedes S Class Gold Interior by Carlex

Some people just can't grasp the concept of "too much". For instance, the aftermarket specialists from Carlex Design received an order to re-build the interior of a 2014 Mercedes S Class using gold. Imagine the price of this interior, as Carlex used only 24K gold for it. The 2014 Mercedes S Class is probably the most luxurious car available on the market today, but apparently, for this customer this wasn't enough. Carlex coated all the interior metal trim parts with gold. These include the various controls, the speakers, the air vents, door handles, emblems and even parts of the steering wheel. One thing Carlex forgot to mention it just how much gold did they require to cover all these parts. And the madness does not stop at gold.

The Mercedes S Class' seats, dashboard, door panels, center console and armrests are all covered in crocodile skin.

Carlex did not disclose the price of their gold and crocodile modifications for the Mercedes S Class. Don't expect them to ever divulge this figure.
