Mercedes released today the first teaser image of the new S Class cabrio, which is going to have its world debut next month at the 2015 Frankfurt auto show. Unfortunately, apart from this image, Mercedes did not disclose a whole lot of details regarding the new S Class cabrio. What they do mention is that it's going to come with exclusive design, fine materials and state-of-the-art technology. Daimler expects the Mercedes C Class cabrio to be the comfortable cabriolet in the world. The equipment list of the new Mercedes s Class cabrio is going to include the AIRCAP automatic wind protection system, the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system, and the heated armrests and seats. The rear passengers of the Mercedes C Class cabrio will benefit from an intelligent fully automatic climate control system.

Mercedes started the tradition of high-end exclusive convertibles back in the 1920s and continued after World War II with the 170 S (W 136) from 1949, the 220 (W 187) from 1951 and the 300 S (W 188) from 1952.
