Mercedes revealed today the new S600 Guard armored limousine, which is based on the 2015 S Class. The Mercedes S600 Guard armored limo is powered by the V12 engine which develops 390 kW (530 hp) and 830 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Its top speed is limited to 210 km/h. According to Mercedes, the new 2015 S600 Guard offers a class VR9 (both in transparent and non-transparent areas) level of protection. It is equipped with an AIRMATIC suspension, and driver assistance systems. Even though it is an armored vehicle, the S600 Guard has been built so it will look just like a regular S Class. Mercedes is going to sell the 2015 S600 Guard as a 4-seater and a 5-seater. It offers 350 liters of luggage capacity.
The equipment list of the new S600 armored limo includes a Chauffeur package, an Executive seat, a Rear Seat Comfort package, and other optional extras.
