Ford revealed today the new generation 2015 Edge, together with its engine options, its full specifications and its complete equipment list. The 2015 Ford Edge is going to be sold with a choice between three engines: a 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that develops 245 hp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque, a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 delivering 300 hp and a naturally-aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine. Ford is going to sell the new Edge (2015) with a 6-speed automatic transmission that offers the SelectShift manual mode. In terms of dimensions, the new Ford Edge (2015) offers more room for its passengers and their luggage than its predecessor. Some of the new systems offered by Ford's 2015 Edge include adaptive steering system, enhanced active park assist, and 180-degree front camera with washer.
Ford also equips the 2015 Edge with adaptive cruise control and collision warning with brake support, a glove box-mounted airbag system, inflatable rear safety belts and a hands-free liftgate.
