2016 Renault F1 Car (RS16) Revealed

Renault revealed today their 2016 F1 car, the RS16, as well as their new livery. The 2016 Renault F1 RS16 race car features a black finish, with yellow accents and white lettering. Renault's chairman, Carlos Ghosn, announced that from now own the French carmaker's Formula 1 racers are going to have this new black and yellow livery. This is going to mark new era in the company's Formula One and general motorsport activities. The 2016 Renault RS16 F1 racer is going to have its debut at the Australian Grand Prix on March 20 in Melbourne. The Renault RS16 F1 cars is going to be raced in the 2016 season by Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer. As you know, Pastor Maldonado is no longer under contract with Renault. Frederic Vasseur is going to be the team's Racing Director and Bob Bell will be the Chief Technical Officer.

So far the carmaker did not disclose any technical details about the Renault RS16. However, the 2016 Formula 1 cars are expected to deliver as much as 1,000 hp. We'll have more details about the 2016 Renault RS16 race car as soon as they are available.
