ING, the main sponsor of the Renault F1, has dropped the contract with the French team. The reason is obvious - the fixing of the Singapore Grand Prix from last year. ING has released a statement saying it ends the deal with the Renault F1 team due to the events from last week.
The statement also says ING is deeply disappointed by the events and that it will not be present in Formula 1 starting at the end of this season.
ING is not the only sponsor lost by the Renault F1 team after the recent events. Mutua Madrilena, a Spanish insurance company also ended its contract because of the fixed race.
