This video shows former Russian president and current Prime Minister Vladimir Putin drive a Formula 1 car. After last year's "crash-gate", Renault was pretty much out of Formula 1, until Russia got involved that is... Russia, and Vladimir Putin, agreed to sponsor Renault's Formula 1 team through its car brand, Lada. One of the terms was that a Russian F1 driver will be part of the Renault Formula 1 team. It seems that Vladimir Putin got a small present from the French carmaker as he was invited to actually drive on of their F1 racers. The clip's description says Putin managed to get to a top speed of up to 240 km/h. However, we believe his greatest achievement at the wheel of the F1 racer was to start it without stalling it.
