AC Schnitzer revealed today their range of aftermarket products for the new BMW 4 Series coupe. AC Schnitzer's program for the 4 Series includes performance upgrades, body parts and interior styling parts. The AC Schnitzer BMW 428i develops 216 kW/294 hp, which is 49 hp more than the standard model. The AC Schnitzer 435i goes from 225 kW/306 hp to 265 kW/360 hp, while the diesel 420d is upgrade from 135 kW/184 hp to 160 kW/218 hp. AC Schnitzer probably found the extra power of these Bimmers by reprogramming their ECU. Apart from the remapped ECUs, AC Schnitzer is also offering a bespoke exhaust system for the BMW 4 Series that features new silencers with a double tailpipe look. The AC Schnitzer BMW 4 Series comes with a height adjustable racing suspension and new springs that lower the coupe's ride height by around 25 mm.
For the interior of the BMW 4 Series, AC Schnitzer is offering various parts such as an aluminum handbrake handle, a gear knob with a digital shifting display, an illuminated leather gear knob, an aluminum pedal set and footrest, and floor mats. AC Schnitzer is also able to provide various wheel sets for the new 4 Series, measuring between 18 and 20 inches.
The price list of these parts has not been disclosed.
