The first images of the BMW 4 Series convertible leaked over the web today, ahead of its world debut, which is scheduled for the 2013 Los Angeles auto show. The specifications and details of the 4 Series convertible are not available yet, but we're pretty sure it's going to have the same engine line-up as the coupe. This means that the convertible 4 Series is going to be available as the 435i (3.0-liter engine with 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque), the 428i (2.0-liter engine with 240 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque), the 420i (184 hp and 270 Nm of torque), the 420d (184 hp and 380 Nm), the 430d (258 hp and 560 Nm) and the 435d (313 hp and 630 Nm). We know for a fact that there's going to be an M performance version of the new 4 Series coupe. We could speculate that we'll also get a BMW M4 convertible too, but this has not been confirmed by the Bavarian carmaker yet.
Judging from these images, the convertible BMW 4 Series is going to have a canvas soft top, but we'll have to wait for additional images to be sure of this. We'll have more details about the BMW 4 Series convertible as soon as they surface.
