My best friend called me in the middle of the night screaming "dude, the new M4 is out!". Imagine my disappointment when I figured out it was just the M Performance parts package. The disappointment lasted for just one second though. If the M package for the 4 Series looks like this, imagine how the actual M4 will look like. Lose the 335i twin exhaust and get the 4-tailpipe M one. Lose the fog lights and get some proper intakes. Add a power dome to that hood too. Get the picture? Anyway, the BMW M4 is not very far away. Meanwhile, we have to give you the "heads-up" on the M Performance Parts pack for the 4 Series. Body parts include a new front bumper, side skirts, a not very convincing rear bumper and a boot lid lip. Yeah, the parts are made of carbon.
Guess what about the interior? There's carbon everywhere! The steering wheel comes with shift lights as well as that obscene-looking leather, you can only touch when wearing gloves, and driving a rally car.
This was just foreplay. BMW is going to throw in a limited slip diff too!... It's going to have a 30% lock. You'll also get an additional 30+ hp, a different exhaust, bigger brakes, a 10 mm lowered suspension, and 20-inch rims. Are you ready for the M4? BMW is going to start selling the M Performance Package for the 4 Series in November. Its price list has not been announced yet.
