Abarth 695 Competizione

The Abarth 695 Competizione is one of the two special Fiat 500s presented by the Italian car manufacturer at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto show. Fiat announces that the 695 Competizione, which is based on the Abarth 500 Assetto Corsa, is the first "street legal" Scorpion racing car. It features a Grigio Competizione Opaco (matte) livery, the same 17" rims as the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, and Brembo brake calipers.

The power of the Abarth 695 Competizione comes from a 1.4 Turbo T-Jet 16v engine, capable of outputting 180 hp, which is mated to an electromechanical gearbox with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, called "Competizione". This new transmission manages to minimize the gear shift times.

Thanks to its gearbox, the Abarth 695 Competizione offers two driving modes: Street and Track. We guess there's no need to explain those.

The Abarth 695 Competizione is actually a two-seat vehicle, since the rear seats have been replaced by a roll-bar. The 695 Abarth comes with carbon fiber bucket seats, a Jaeger instrument panel, a carbon fiber dashboard which incorporates the car's Blue&MeTM MAP satellite navigation unit, a Magneti Marelli information system, and various other badges and styling cues.

Fiat did not announce the Abarth 695 Competizione price list.
