Zender, a German aftermarket specialist, revealed recently a new Abarth Fiat 500 concept, which they like to call the Corsa Stradale. In comparison to the standard Fiat 500 Abarth, the Zender Corsa Stradale comes with a dramatic wide body kit, a power kit and various other performance upgrades. Zender's body kit for the Abarth 500 includes a new front bumper with large air intakes and integrated LED DRLs, new side skirts, a modified rear apron with an integrated diffuser, a roof spoiler and wider wheel arches with vents for cooling the brakes. The Zender 500 Abarth sits on 18-inch alloys covered in Pirelli P Zero Black performance tires and a lowered sport suspension system. For the interior of the Abarth 500, Zender is offering two front sport bucket seats, illuminated door plates, aluminum pedals, a custom steering wheel and various other styling parts.

The Zender Abarth Fiat 500 Corsa Stradale is powered by the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, which has been modified and it now develops 236 hp and 335 Nm of torque. This is 76 hp more than the standard Fiat 500 Abarth. With the extra horsepowers, the Zender Fiat 500 Abarth is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 144 mph (232 km/h).

To get the extra ponies out of the Abarth 500's engine, Zender had to make some rather serious modifications. For starters, Zender's 500 Abarth receives a re-programmed ECU, a more potent turbocharger, a modified fuel injection system, and a larger fuel pressure regulator. Zender's 500 Abarth is also fitted with stainless steel sport exhaust system, and custom camshafts and pistons.

Zender did not yet disclose the price of the Abarth 500 Corsa Stradale.
