Fiat 500 Abarth Roadster Design Study

 »  »  »

Madeindreams, an Italian design consultancy company, in collaboration with the students from the Polytechnic University of Milan, imagined this Fiat 500 Abarth Roadster. The car is just a design study, which is probably, and sadly, never going to make into production. The factory version of the vehicle can accommodate four passengers, but this Fiat 500 Abarth Roadster has only two seats. The Abarth 500 roadster design study keeps most of the styling elements of the original car, however, there are a few differences. The Abarth 500 roadster has wider fenders, two new vents at the front for cooling the brakes, and two carbon fiber diffusers for both the front and the rear. The Abarth 500 roadster is equipped with the standard 1.4 T-Jet engine.

This 500 roadster is imagined without a roof, but its designers managed to keep a balance between proportions nevertheless. Even though the car has mostly rounded shapes, they managed to give it an aggressive and sporty look. Maybe someday, we'll have the chance to see one of these beauties on the street.
