The Italian aftermarket specialists from Romeo Ferraris introduced recently the Cinquone, which is based on the Fiat 500 Abarth. The Romeo Ferraris Cinquone Fiat 500 Abarth is powered by the standard 1.4-liter T-jet turbocharged engine and it is available in three power output levels: 160 bhp, 210 bhp, and 248 bhp. The most powerful version of Romeo Ferraris' new Fiat 500 Abarth is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than 5.5 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 240 km/h. Romeo Ferraris is going to sell the Cinquone as a standalone car, and not like an aftermarket package for the Fiat 500 Abarth. However, the price of the Cinquone has not been announced yet. In comparison to the standard 500 Abarth, the Romeo Ferraris Cinquone comes with a carbon fiber wide body kit.

The aerodynamic package includes wider fenders, new front and rear bumper, a rear diffuser, side skirts, a modified hood with huge vents for cooling the engine bay, and a rear roof spoiler. In fact this is the same body kit as the one on the Italian Endurance Touring car Championship (CITE) prototype. The Cinquone sits on multi-spoke 18-inch alloys.

The Romeo Ferraris Cinquone is equipped with a racing-grade intercooler, a reprogrammed ECU, an upgraded turbocharger, new injectors, a new fuel pressure regulator and a high performance full exhaust system (downpipe with catalyzer, mid pipe and rear muffler).

Romeo Ferraris also equips the Cinquone with a Bilstein/Eibach suspension system, and Brembo brakes with 305 mm vented discs and 4 piston floating calipers at the front and 204 mm discs at rear.

At the interior, the Romeo Ferraris Cinquone features leather and Alcantara upholstery, carbon trim parts, Recaro monocoque sports seats and a roll-bar. You can order your Romeo Ferraris Cinquone with the Leggero weight reduction kit that reduces the weight of the car from 1,030 kg to 970 kg. It includes, among others, racing Plexiglas windows, new door panels, and a lightweight AC system.
