According to recent reports, Fiat's house tuner, Abarth, is to start work on another brand of the group - Alfa Romeo. The rumor that an Abarth Alfa Romeo is in the works comes from the British press which also states the new performance kit are not very far away from going into showrooms.
However, which Alfa Romeo models exactly will receive the Abarth treatment is not known yet. In the near future, we could see an Abarth Alfa MiTo or Giulietta. At this point, this is just speculation and no official details related to this matter have been released yet.
To see exactly what kind of work Abarth does, we just have to look at the models currently in its line-up. The new Abarth Alfa Romeo models will
have increased power outputs, new aerodynamics and improved handling. Expect the price of an Abarth Alfa Romeo to be considerably higher than the one of a standard unit.
