Abarth announced today that the Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse will be featured at the 2008 ROC (Race of Champions) that will take place on the Wembley Stadium on December 14th. The Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse will be raced in the celebrity event by Frank Bruno, Amir Khan, David Haye and Enzo Maccarinelli. The Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse will also be raced by TV chef James Martin, Olympic cycle champ Chris Hoy, Arsenal footballer Bacary Sagna, and singer Shayne Ward.

The 190 hp Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse has been built in a limited run of just 49 cars and features a full racing conversion. The Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse has a wider track, 17-inch special ultralight racing wheels, low ride height and sports racing mirrors. The Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse also comes with a roll-cage type-approved for competition, sports seats, racing steering wheel and carbon door panels.
