The Ingolstadt revealed today the new Audi R8 Competition, which is currently the most powerful production vehicle they have ever built. The world debut of the Audi R8 Competition is going to take place at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Only sixty units of the Competition R8 will reach the U.S. shores. So far, the carmaker did not disclose the Audi R8 Competition's price. However, they say you can start ordering yours from November. The first deliveries will commence at the beginning of 2015. The Audi R8 Competition is powered by the 5.2-liter V10 engine, which has been upgraded to deliver 570 hp. According to the manufacturer's official specs and performance figures, the Audi R8 Competition's 0-60 mph acceleration takes place in 3.2 seconds.

The car is able to reach a top speed of 199 mph (just under 320 km/h).

The Audi R8 Competition comes equipped with the 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission and a sport exhaust system with black high-gloss tailpipes. Audi's R8 Competition is fitted with matte carbon exterior elements, which include the fixed rear spoiler, the engine bay, the mirror casings, the flics, the side blades, the front splitter and the rear diffuser. These new body parts offer more downforce on both axles of the supercar. The Audi R8 Competition's equipment list includes gloss black wheels with 305 cross-section rear tires and ceramic brakes with anodized red calipers.

At the interior, the R8 Competition features various matte carbon fiber trim parts, which include the center console and the illuminated door sill inlays.
