Back in Black: BMW i8

 »  »  »

So BMW is trying to build a supercar. They give it the face to make Clint search for "punk" in the dictionary, the ass to make Kim go running and crying to her mommy, and the overall look to make Iron Man jealous. And then they stick a hybrid powertrain in it. It's ok. We can handle it. Check out GSC (German Special Customs). They just threw a bit of black in the mix. And a new body kit... The kit includes a new front spoiler with integrated Robocop, pardon, LED, daytime running lights, a modified hood, side skirts, and a modified rear bumper with two awesome looking exhaust pipes. To keep in line with the current trend, GSC calls their new i8 Bimmer the "iTRON". What's the deal with this "i"? This is the first BMW i8 body kit we've seen so far. We're sure many others will come.

Meanwhile, in case you're wondering about a (much awaited) power package, take a break and light a cigar. It's not ready yet.

We'll have more details about GSC's aftermarket program for the BMW i8 as soon as they're available. As you can imagine, there is no pricing information so far.
