RM Auctions has announced that a movie star and legend will go under the hammer on 27th October in London, UK. The star is James Bond's actual Aston Martin DB5 which was driven by actor Sean Connery in Goldfinger and Thunderball. The Bond Aston Martin DB5 auction will take place at Stoke Park Club and will be organized by RM in collaboration with Sotheby’s.
The Bond Aston Martin DB5 on auction is one of two ever produced and is the only one still in existence as seen in the original movies. This very special Aston Martin DB5 features various modifications made by Oscar-award-winning special effects expert, John Stears. The car has machine guns, bullet-proof shield, revolving number plates and a oil slick sprayer among others.

The starting price for the Bond Aston Martin DB5 on auction has not been announced yet, but we're sure it will be too high for most of us.
