Brabus revealed this week their personalization program for the new generation Mercedes GL (2013), which is going to have its premiere at the 2012 Essen Motor Show. Brabus is offering various styling parts for both the exterior and the interior of the new 2013 Mercedes GL, as well as power upgrades for several engines. For the 2013 Mercedes GL350 BlueTEC, Brabus is offering the ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit, which increases the output of the engine to 228 kW / 310 hp (306 bhp) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque from 1,600 rpm to 2,400 rpm. The 2013 Brabus GL350 is able to get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.6 seconds and to reach a top speed of 140 mph (225 km/h). The 2013 Brabus GL500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY gets the B50-520 power pack that increases the output of the 4.7-liter 8-cylinder Biturbo engine to 383 kW / 521 hp (513 bhp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque between 1,800 rpm and 3,500 rpm.

With this engine, the Mercedes GL by Brabus can get from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.0 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 171 mph (275 km/h).

The new Brabus Mercedes GL (2013) sits on massive 23-inch alloys, and it comes with a 30 millimeters (1.2 inches) lowered ride height. For increases stopping power, the massive SUV gets upgraded brakes, with 6-piston calipers and 405 x 34 millimeters (15.9 x 1.3 inches) vented and cross-drilled front discs and 4-piston calipers and 380 x 34 mm (15.0 x 1.3 inches) rear ones.

Brabus did not announce the price of these modifications for the new 2013 Mercedes GL Class.
