Carlsson revealed today in Frankfurt at the 2013 IAA motor show their aftermarket program for Mercedes' latest model, the CLA Class. The Carlsson Mercedes CLA comes with a new aerodynamics package, as well as power upgrades for some of its engines. The Carlsson Mercedes CLA200, thanks to the C-Tronic CB power kit, delivers 187hp /138 kW and 300 nm of torque. This is 31 hp and 50 Nm of torque more than the standard Mercedes CLA200. The same power module, when installed on the Mercedes CLA250, delivers 42 hp and 70 Nm of torque more. This means that Carlsson's CLA250 develops 253hp /186 kW and 420 Nm of torque. The Carlsson Mercedes CLA45 AMG is capable of delivering 450hp. Put that in conjunction with the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system of the CLA45 AMG and you get one of the maddest hatchbacks around.

Carlsson's body kit for the Mercedes CLA includes a more aggressive looking front bumper with large air intakes, side skirts, a modified rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and a boot lid spoiler. Apart from the body parts, the Carlsson Mercedes CLA is also fitted with a bespoke exhaust system with quad tail pipes, and a 35 mm lowered adjustable coil-over suspension featuring sport springs. Carlsson is able to provide 18-, 19- and 20-inch wheels set for the new CLA.

For the interior of the new Mercedes 4-door coupe, Carlsson is offering leather and Alcantara upholstery options, floor mats and illuminated sill plates.

The price of these modifications has not been announced yet.
