Mercedes announced today the CLA's price list for the UK market, where the new four-door coupe has just went on sale. The Mercedes CLA is going to be sold in the UK with a choice between two engines: the CLA180 and the CLA220 CDI. The British version of the Mercedes CLA 180 is powered by a 1.6-liter petrol engine that's good for 122 hp and 200 Nm of torque. With a 0-62 mph acceleration time of 9.3 seconds and a top speed of 130 mph, the CLA180 offers a 50.4 mpg combined fuel economy and a 130 g/km CO2 emissions level. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Mercedes CLA220 CDI has a 2,143 cc four-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It comes with a 7G-DCT automatic transmission and it promises to offer a 62.8 mpg combined fuel consumption with 117 g/km of CO2.
The CLA220 CDI is able to get from nought to 62 mph in 8.2 seconds and to reach a top speed of 143 mph.
The Mercedes CLA's UK price list starts at £24,355 OTR for the CLA180 and it goes up to £29,355 OTR for the CLA220 CDI. The AMG Sport version of the Mercedes CLA is going to cost you £26,555 OTR (CLA180) and £31,555 ORE for the diesel version. If you choose the get the optional exclusive package, your new Mercedes CLA is going to cost you an extra £1,970 (the base model) or £1,640 (the AMG version). There are also two special exterior finishes available: designo Magno Polar Silver for £1,480 and designo Patagonia Red for £1,790.
The Mercedes CLA measures 4,630 mm in length, 1,777 mm in width, 1,437 mm in height and it has a 470-liter boot.
