Historics at Brooklands announced today it's going to auction several famous cartoon inspired vehicles. The line-up includes the 6-engined Snake Pit, the Bugaloos Buggy, the 600bhp "Bunkbeds" and an original Hans Trippel Amphicar. The Bugaloos, a show that aired between 1970 and 1972 on NBC, enrolled the help of George Barris for building their Buggy. George Barris is also "responsible" for the original Batmobile, and the KITT car for Knight Rider. The Bugaloos Buggy is built on a Volkswagen chassis and features a fiberglass body. The car was restored and it's street legal. Imagine driving it for the weekly groceries shopping. The Bugaloos Buggy is estimated at £12,000 - £15,000.

The 23ft long Snake Pit took four years to build, and it's the work of Barris, Harry Bradley, Joe Bailon and Jay Ohrberg. It's powered by a six synchronized Ford Cobra V8 engines for a total of 2,000 horsepower. The Snake Pit was originally built for land speed records. It features 12 Holley four-barrel carburetors, 48 exhausts, and two Ford C-6 automatic transmissions. The Snake Pit is estimated at over $100,000.

The Bunkbeds is powered by a 600bhp V8 engine, but unfortunately, it's not working at the moment.
