Chevrolet released today the details of the Camaro 45th Anniversary special edition which will have its world debut on April 15 in Arizona, at the Camaro5 Fest II. The 45th Anniversary special edition comes to celebrate the launch of the 2012 Camaro, which features several updates. For 2012 Chevy gave the latest Camaro an improved 3.6-liter direct injection V6 engine, and a new FE4 performance suspension package for SS coupe. The 2012 Camaro also features several interior and technology improvements, a revised instrument panel design, a new steering wheel and rear view camera system.

The Chevrolet Camaro 45th Anniversary will be available as a coupe and convertible and in two trim levels, 2LT and 2SS. In terms of styling,

Chevy's 45th Anniversary Camaro features red and silver "go faster" rally stripes, Carbon Flash Metallic exterior paint job.

The Camaro 45th Anniversary sits on dark silver 20-inch wheels, and features a rear spoiler, HID headlamps, and various badges. Chevrolet did not announce its price yet.
