The U.S. tuners from East Texas Muscle Cars announced they are building a Chevrolet Camaro fit to fight the mighty Nissan GT-R for its Nurburgring lap record. The GT-R fighter Chevrolet Camaro will be powered by a V6 engine which will output around 500 hp. The V6 engine of the Chevrolet Camaro will be extensively modified and will be fitted with two turbochargers from Squires Turbo Systems.
The tuners hope this modified engine of the Chevrolet Camaro, coupled with the two turbos, will offer a better torque curve and a performance to match the Japanese supercar.
This Chevrolet Camaro will also be able to take turns as the tuner plans to fit it with a better braking system and an improved suspension.
The Nurburgring fighter Chevrolet Camaro will have a 7:26.70 time to beat.
