On Monday, the Williams F1 confirmed its entry for the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship. As a result, the Formula One Teams Association, FOTA, has announced that it temporarily suspends the Williams F1 from its membership.
Frank Williams, Team Principal, said that, although the decision to enter the next season's championship was not easy, the team has obligations to their partners and employees.
The Williams F1 is also legally obliged, under contract with FOM and the FIA to participate in the World Championship until the end of 2012.
