The Italian carmaker has released today the first Fiat 500 TwinAir video after it has unveiled the new, 2-cylinder, version of the popular European mini. The video features both the Fiat 500 TwinAir and its open-top version, the 500C. In case you missed yesterday's unveiling, the Fiat 500 and 500C TwinAir are powered by a new two-cylinder 900 cc turbo engine that develops 85 hp and 145 Nm of torque. The company claims this new unit offers the same performance as the current 1.4 16v engine, but with 30% less fuel. The Fiat 500 TwinAir has a 92 g/km CO2 emissions level and a 4.0 l/100 km fuel consumption in the city. Regardless of these low figures, the Fiat 500 TwinAir can get from 0 to 100 km/h in 11 seconds and up to a top speed of 173 km/h.
