Ford Racing revealed at this year at SEMA a new range of bespoke parts for the 2015 Mustang GT called the King Cobra package. The 2015 Ford Mustang King Cobra comes equipped with the Drag Pack, the Handling Pack and the Super Pack supercharger. They all add up and help the 2015 Mustang King Cobra develop more than 600 hp. Ford's new Mustang King Cobra parts transform the GT muscle car into a street-and-drag strip vehicle. Equipped with these parts, the 2015 Mustang GT managed to run the quarter mile in 10.97 seconds at the Michigan's Milan Dragway. The King Cobra's Drag Pack includes heavy-duty half shafts, and a rear sub-frame kit. The Handling Pack includes lowering springs that reduce the ride height by around 1 inch, performance rear shocks and a stabilizer bar.
The Super Pack includes a 2.3L Twin Vortices Series (TVS) supercharger assembly developed in collaboration with ROUSH Performance. It also includes a six-rib belt drive system, intake manifold, electronic throttle body, air inlet system, fuel rail and high-flow fuel injectors, complete air-to-liquid intercooler system and a re-programmed ECU.
The price list for the Ford Mustang King Cobra parts is going to be announced at a later date.
