Hamann revealed at this year's Geneva motor show their new SPYRIDON aftermarket program for the Mercedes G65 AMG. The Hamann Mercedes G65 AMG SPYRIDON comes with quite a serious power increase and loads of styling modifications. Hamann's version of the G65 AMG develops 702 hp and 1,110 Nm of torque instead of the standard 612 hp and 1,000 Nm. The extra horsepowers of the Hamann G65 AMG come from a bespoke exhaust system and a re-mapped ECU. Hamann is also offering a power kit for the G63 AMG, which develops 610 hp and 875 Nm of torque. This is 66 hp and 175 Nm more than the factory version of the Mercedes G63 AMG. One of the key styling elements of the Mercedes G63 AMG SPYRIDON is the Hamann logo on the front grille and spare wheel cover. It has been covered in several layers of a newly developed illuminating paint.
The Hamann G65 SPYRIDON is 80 mm wider than the standard version of the luxury SUV. It features LED DRLs integrated into new front spoiler, wider wheel arches, new side skirts with integrated exhaust pipes, a new rear bumper and a roof wing. Hamann's G65 AMG comes with a carbon fiber bonnet that weighs just 3.5 kg and carbon side mirror casings.
Hamann equips the SPYRIDON G65 AMG with a new exhaust that features three pipes milled from a solid block of aluminum and anodized in a golden color.
The SUV sits on 24-inch alloys finished in black with gold accents, and Vredestein Ultrac SUV Sessanta tires.
For the interior of the Mercedes G65 AMG, Hamann is offering various carbon trim parts, gold leather door panels and a special stitching on the seats and on the instrument panel. The interior of the Hamann G65 SPYRIDON also features aluminum pedals, illuminated brushed stainless steel door sills, and the tuners logo embroidered in silver.
The Hamann Mercedes G65 AMG SPYRIDON's price has not been disclosed.
