The aftermarket specialists from IMSA revealed a new power kit and a bespoke body kit for the new generation Mercedes G63 AMG. The 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine of the IMSA Mercedes G63 AMG develops 730 HP (537 kW) and 1,035 Nm of torque. This new powerkit for the G63 AMG includes a reprogrammed ECU, custom turbochargers, and a complete exhaust system, which includes new down pipes, sports cats and exhaust pipes. IMSA's powerkit for the Mercedes G63 AMG also includes a charge air cooler. IMSA's new body kit for the Mercedes G63 is made mostly of carbon fiber. It includes new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, wheel arches, left and right air inlets, and plated footboards. For better protection when riding off-road, IMSA fitted their new G63 AMG with font and rear underguards made of chromed stainless steel.
For the interior of the Mercedes G63 AMG, IMSA is offering lather upholstery, and two rear seats instead of the standard bench. The new center console for the rear passengers offers controls for the air conditioning and multimedia systems. IMSA did not disclose the price of their new tuning program for the Mercedes G63 AMG.
