The specialists from Edo Competition revealed today a new powerkit for the Mercedes G63 AMG. Edo's new program for the G63 includes several other performance parts too. Edo's power kit for the Mercedes G63 increases the horsepower output of the 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine from 544 PS / 400 kW to 600 PS / 485 kW at 5,800 rpm and its torque from 760 Nm to 900 Nm between 1,900 rpm and 5,200 rpm. With the extra umpf, Edo's G63 AMG is able to rocket from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.0 seconds and to reach a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Edo's powerkit for the Mercedes G63 includes a reprogrammed ECU and a sports exhaust system with valve control. The new exhaust system is made of stainless steel and it comes with 70-mm chrome-plated double tailpipes and sports catalysts.
Apart from the powerkit, Edo is also offering a set of high-performance brakes for the G63 AMG. They include 398-mm and 380-mm discs, six piston monobloc fixed calipers, sports brake pads, and a Stahlflex brake line set.
For the interior of the Mercedes G63 AMG, Edo Competition is offering various carbon fiber and trim parts, leather upholstery, steering wheels and pedals.
Edi is going to announce the price of their new powerkit for the Mercedes G63 AMG at a later date.
