Heico Sportiv revealed recently the new HPC aftermarket program for the Volvo V40 T5. The Heico Volvo V40 T5 HPC is powered by a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbocharged engine that's good for (257 kW) 350 hp at 5,400 rpm and 510 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. Heico equips the Volvo V40 T5 HPC with a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and a 4-wheel-drive system. Heico builds the V40 HPC based on the Cross County version of the model - the V40CC T5. To get the extra power of the V40's T5 factory engine, Heico modified the exhaust system (including sport catalytic converter and flap control), intercooler and the air intake system. They also installed e.motion power package and the "speedpack", which increases the top speed of the Volvo V40.
The Heico V40 HPC offers its maximum power when the water-ethanol injection system is activated.
The Heico V40's water-ethanol injection system offers three settings: the standard Level 1 offers 320 hp, Level 2 opens the exhaust flaps and Level 3 offers the car's full 350 hp. The Heico Volvo V40 T5 HPC is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 265 km/h.
Apart from the performance modifications, Heico's HPC package for the Volvo V40 includes a 30 mm lowered suspension too. The V40 HPC also comes with a set of 19-inch alloys with ContiForceContact cup tires, and upgraded brakes with 6-piston-calipers and 370 mm disks.
The Heico V40 HPC comes with a new body kit that includes new front and rear spoilers, a rear diffuser, which are made from polyurethane plastic (PUR-R-RIM). For the interior of the V40 HPC, Heico is offering Recaro leather front seats, a sport steering wheel and aluminum pedals.
The Heico Volvo V40 T5 HPC's price is going to be announced at a later date.
