Volvo revealed today the facelifted 2017 V40 and the 2017 V40 Cross Country. The 2017 Volvo V40 comes with several updates, including a new front grille and new "Thor's Hammer" headlights. Volvo is going to sell the 2017 V40 with a choice between several new colors, including Amazon Blue and Denim Blue. For the interior of the 2017 V40, Volvo is offering the City Weave upholstery first seen on the Volvo Concept Estate and a Charcoal/Blond steering wheel. Also for the interior of the 2017 V40, Volvo is offering two new options for the various panels, including Milled Aluminum, Black Grid Aluminum and Stealth Aluminum.
As far as engines go, the D2 powertrain of the 2017 Volvo V40 now emits less CO2, and it is rated at 89 g/km.
The carmaker also updated the Volvo On Call smartphone app for the 2017 V40. This app allows remote access and control over a range of in-car features. The new systems offers voice-control and connectivity for the Apple Watch/Android Wear and the Microsoft Band 2.
The 2017 Volvo V40 and the 2017 V40 Cross Country come with CleanZone technology, which filters outside air before introducing it into the cabin.
