Hyundai revealed today the hybrid version of the Azera, which is called the Grandeur on the carmaker's home market. The Hyundai Azera Hybrid is powered by a 2.4-liter MPI engine developing 159 hp (116 kW) and an electric motor that bring an additional 47 hp (35 kW). This means that the Azera Hybrid develops a maximum of 204 hp (150 kW). In terms of efficiency, which is the main purpose of a hybrid vehicle, the new "green" Azera promises to offer a combined fuel economy of 37.6 mpg (6.2 liters per 100 km). As far as styling goes there's not much difference between the Hybrid Azera and the regular version of Hyundai’s sedan. The Azera Hybrid comes with a modified front grille, and that's about it.

The equipment list of the Hyundai Azera Hybrid includes LED rear lights, 17-inch alloys, a Nappa leather upholstery, heated seats, climate control, a rear view camera and a 6-inch display for the infotainment system. There's also an interesting sun roof.

The Hyundai Azera Hybrid's price list starts at just under 24,000 EUR.
