Keating Supercars, British carmaker, revealed last weekend the new Bolt concept. The Keating Bolt is built upon an aluminum space frame chassis and it features a carbon fiber and Kevlar body. Keating says that the Bolt weighs between 990 kg and 1,200 kg. The power of the Keating Bolt comes from a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine developed by General Motors that's expected to have an output of around 640 hp. Keating say they will also offer a 800 bhp version of the Bolt, which is expected to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in an unbelievable 2 seconds. Keating also plans to develop a twin-turbocharged version of the Bolt, which is going to reach a top speed of 340 mph (547 km/h).
Keating Supercars says that the Bolt is going to be priced at around £750,000. Journalists attending the unveiling of the Keating Bolt say the supercar is built rather poorly and that its specifications changed depending on the person asking the question.
