Leib Engineering revealed their latest project, called the GT 500, which is based on the BMW M3 coupe. Leib's BMW M3 GT 500 comes with an updated interior, modified aerodynamics and a bit more power than the standard model. The M3 GT 500 comes with a few carbon fiber exterior parts, which include the carbon flaps under the front spoiler, the side mirror casings, and the boot lid spoiler. For the M3 GT 500, Leib developed a new sport exhaust system equipped with valve control. Leib's new exhaust for the M3 is made from high-grade steel and it extends from the manifold all the way to the tail pipes. It includes a 100-cell HJS catalyzer, an X-pipe with middle silencers and an end muffler with vacuum-controlled valves. This new exhaust gives the BMW M3 an extra 27.5 hp.

Leib found 25 additional horsepowers through various modifications of the M#'s ECU. Leib's BMW M3 coupe develops a total of 470 hp.

The Leib BMW M3 GT 500 is also equipped with Brembo brakes with 380x32 mm discs and 6-piston calipers at the front and 320x28-mm discs and 4-piston calipers at the rear. Leib also gave the M3 8.5x19 alloys with 235/35R19 semi-slick tires at the front, and 9.5x19 wheels with 265/30R19 tires at the rear. Leib modified the ABS software of the M3 to be able to cope with the new tires. They also modified the gearbox for even faster shifting times. The M3 GT 500 is equipped with a KW coilover suspensions system. Leib modified the KW's electronic damper control system so that it can be controlled through the M3's original EDC key or M key.

For the interior of the BMW M3, Leib offers a set of sport seats covered in Alcantara.
