McLaren revealed today the full specifications list of the MP4-12 GT3, together with a range of other updates. Apart from releasing the MP4-12 GT3 specs and a new image gallery, McLaren also announced their development program for the new race car. McLaren, with its Automotive, Racing, Electronic Systems and Applied Technologies divisions, CRS Racing for further developing the MP4-12C GT3 program. McLaren also announced today that from 2012, that their MP4-12C GT3 customers will have access to various Simulator programs.

The GT3 version of the McLaren MP4-12C is powered by the 3.8-liter V8 twin turbo M838T engine (limited to 7500rpm), which is mated to a 6 speed sequential transmission, with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.

The McLaren MP4-12C GT3 comes equipped with an LSD with a range of ramps and adjustable pre-load, a hydraulically operated Sintered clutch, a wet sump and Driveshafts with tripod joints.
