The GREAT McLaren MP4-12C GT3 is going to have its world debut at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. This very special McLaren MP4-12C GT3 racecar, which is called the "GREAT", features a Union Jack-themed livery. The goal of this specail MP4-12C GT3 is to support the GREAT campaign, which is designed to re-affirm Britain's international reputation. This campagin was launched this year by the Brtiish Prime Minister's Office and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. The GREAT McLaren MP4-12C GT3 will run in the Batch 3 of the Goodwood Hillclimb on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So far, its driver has not been announced, however, McLaren says that the car will have in its passenger seat two high profile British guests from the world of entertainment. The comparison to the standard racer, the GREAT McLaren MP4-12C GT3 seems to have a few other modifications, apart from the livery. These inlcude a new carbon fiber hood with large air vents, and a new front spoiler.
