Mercedes CL Grand Edition

Mercedes-Benz unveiled today the CL-Class Grand Edition, which is based on the 2011MY version of the model. Daimler calls it the "epitome of the luxury coupe", and we tend to agree with them. Some of the key distinctive features of the Mercedes CL Grand Edition include a designo exterior finish, designo leather styling elements, a set of 20-inch wheels and AMG exterior trim parts. The new CL Grand Edition will be available in three exterior finishes (platinum black metallic, mocha black metallic and magno cashmere white) and with a choice between three leather colors. Mercedes’ Grand Edition CL-Class features an AMG body kit, which includes both front and rear aprons, and side sill panels.

The Mercedes CL Grand Edition also benefits from a long list of standard equipment. It includes an active suspension system Active Body Control (ABC) with crosswind stabilization, ATTENTION ASSIST, and the PRE-SAFE system. Optionally, the Grand Edition CL can be quipped with the Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Highbeam Assist systems.

Mercedes will sell the CL Grand Edition with various engines, including the 4.6-litre V8 biturbo with 320 kW (435 hp) and 700 Nm of torque (CL500), and the 5.5-liter V12 engine with 380 kW (517 hp) (CL600).

The Mercedes CL Grand Edition is available as an optional package, which will cost you an extra 4850 EUR, excluding VAT.
