The aftermarket specialists from Merdad Collection are some of the firsts to announce a tuning program for McLaren's latest supercar, the MP4-12C. So far they've only released a few sketches of the Merdad McLaren MP4-12C, since the car is probably still in development. Merdad calls their McLaren MP4-12C upgrade program the MehRon GT, and announced they will also build it in a GT3 racing version. Merdad's MP4-12C features a new aerodynamics package, featuring extensive modifications, which give it a much more aggressive look in comparison to the standard car.

The new body kit of the Merdad MP4-12C includes a new front bumper with huge air intakes, and new front fenders, which form a kind of "eyebrows"

for the headlights. Merdad's McLaren MP4-12C also comes with new rear fenders and modified side air intakes. The rear of the supercar shows a lot more exposed carbon fiber than the factory version, together with a new rear bumper with sharper corners.

The tuners from Merdad say they offer several personalization options for MP4-12C's interior, but they did not disclose their details.

For increasing the performance of the factory MP4-12C, Merdad is offering a new SuperSound exhaust system, a set of new lightweight forged wheels and an engine power increase, which is probably possible through an ECU remap. Exactly how much extra horsepower does this engine upgrade give, is still a well kept secret.

We'll have more details on the Merdad McLaren MP4-12C as soon as they're available.
