The Mini Coupe was unveiled yesterday and Mini Cooper announced today its price list for the USA market. The United states market will get only three versions of the Mini Cooper Coupe, the base model, the S and the high performance JCW (John Cooper Works). The diesel Mini Cooper SD will not be sold in the U.S. at this moment. The Mini Coupe price list for the North American market starts at 22,000 USD for the base model, which is powered by a 1.6-liter engine developing 122 hp and 160 Nm of torque. The base version of the Mini Coupe will offer up to 52.3 mpg in the combined cycle and that it has a top speed of 127 mph.
The Mini Coupe S will cost you at least 25,300 USD, excluding any optional equipment.
The S version of the coupe has the same 1.6-liter engine, but it comes with a turbocharger that increases the output to 184 hp and 240 Nm of torque.
The Mini Coupe JCW is priced from 31,900 USD, and it comes with a 211 hp and 260 Nm of torque turbo engine. Mini Cooper says that the coupe version of the JCW is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.4 seconds and that it has a top speed of 149 mph.
