AC Schnitzer Mini Coupe RAPTOR

 »  »  »

AC Schnitzer's RAPTOR is probably the fastest Mini at the moment. Based on the Mini Coupe JCW (John Cooper Works), the AC Schnitzer RAPTOR managed to complete a lap of the Hockenheim circuit in 1:10.87 minutes. The AC Schnitzer Mini Coupe RAPTOR is powered by the same engine as the standard car, but it develops 300 hp at 5000 rpm and 340 Nm of torque at 2950 rpm. AC Schnitzer says it can get from zero to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.4 seconds and that it can reach a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). To get all this power out of the small Mini Coupe JCW, AC Schnitzer had to make extensive engine modifications. The ECU, the turbocharger, and the intercooler of the Mini Coupe have all been optimized. The car also received a new limited slip diff, a sports clutch and a bespoke exhaust system with a racing catalyst.

AC Schnitzer Mini Coupe is not only more powerful in comparison to the standard vehicle, but also 100 kg lighter. The weight loss program consists of a new carbon fiber body. The bonnet, the boot lid, the rear diffuser, the doors, the wings and other panels have all been replaced with carbon fiber ones.

At the interior, the AC Schnitzer Mini Coupe RAPTOR comes with a roll cage, sport bucket seats, and aluminum pedals.
