Although the new model has not been revealed yet, the first rumors regarding the Audi A1 price have started to surface. The British press claims sources inside the company have revealed the Audi A1 price will be close to the one of the Mini Cooper and that the car will go on sale towards the end of next year. If they're right, the Audi A1 price will be between 16,000 EUR and 22,000 EUR.
Regarding the engine choices offered by the new Audi A1, they will include a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol unit with 80 hp, a 1.4-liter petrol with 120 hp, also turbocharged and a 1.6-liter common-rail diesel. The diesel version of the Audi A1 will be available in three power levels 75 hp, 90 hp and 105 hp.
The same sources say the Audi A1 will share some of the technology on the new VW Polo and that will offer a similar experience with the Mini.
