Talking about Bugatti getting sold out in 24h - there might be a faster car around. Shelby SuperCars (SSC) announced today that their Ultimate Aero topped 257.1 mph (413.76 km/h) in the first run. For the record to be accepted in the Guinness World Records there must also be a second run. The average speed of the two runs was 255.83 mph (411.63 km/h).
The Bugatti Veyron in the unofficial test done by Top Gear reached 407 km/h. Do we have a new speed king? We'll have to wait and see until an "unofficial" test is done. Top Gear guys?
