Seat revealed today the 5-door version of the Mii, hoping to offer a little bit mode functionality to their compact model. The 5-door Mii measures 3.56 meters in length, 1.64 meters in width, and it offers a 251 liters boot (951 liters when the rear seats are folded). This should be enough for most urban trips, in case the driver has three passengers at most. The Mii offers great all-round visibility, thanks to its large rear door windows, and easy access to the rear seats. As an optional extra, the Seat Mii 5-door will be available with a panoramic glass roof, which is meant to offer a feeling of spaciousness. In the summer, the glass roof can be covered with a sliding roof blind, and it can be opened for extra ventilation.
In terms of engines, the five-door version of the Mii comes with the same options as its 3-door sibling. This means it has a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine (60 PS or 75 PS). The 60 PS Seat Mii 5-door has a top speed of 160 km/h and it's rated with a fuel consumption of 4.5 liter per 100 km. the most efficient version of the 5-door Mii is the Ecomotive, which is available with the same power outputs. However, the Seat Mii 5-door Ecomotive also comes equipped with a start/stop system and brake energy recovery technology. This cuts its fuel consumption to 4.1 liters per 100 km (60 PS version) and 4.2 liters per 100 km (75 PS model).
The CO2 emissions also drop to 96 g/km and 98 g/km respectively.
For safety reasons, the Seat's 5-door Mii is equipped with the City Safety Assist system, which can apply the brakes in case it detects an obstacle in the way. The system works at speeds of up to 30 km/h.
For in-car infotainment purposes, Seat equips the five-door version of the Mii with a special Portable System. It includes a removable 5-inch touchscreen, a satellite navigation system, hands-free phone capability with voice control and an on-board computer.
