Anthony Coyne got in trouble with the cops after posting on the Vauxhall VX220 enthusiast site www.vx220.org.uk.
He posted photos of the speedometer of his Vauxhall VX220 Turbo going up to 150mph. He also posted photos of the view out through the windscreen as he was doing 150mph.
The Sun newspaper people saw the post, and the photos, and referred him to the cops.
The Sun, after studying his earlier postings, found out Anthony Coyne's phone number and registration, and after studying the photos they identified the spot where the run took place: the M20 motorway.
The Kent police said: "Drivers who commit offences will be dealt with. We are grateful to The Sun."
