Toyota announced today that it's going to reveal the new generation Venza (2013) at the 2012 New York Auto Show. The Japanese carmaker also released a teaser image of the 2013 Venza, which shows the crossover's left headlight. Judging from this image, the 2013 Toyota Venza features a somewhat updated exterior design. The main modification brought to its front fascia includes LED DRLs (daytime running lights), which are now integrated into the headlights. Toyota mentions a few other updates too. The new Venza (2013) will come with more comprehensive standard equipment, as well as more optional extras. Among those there will be the Entune multi-media system, and 19-inch wheels. Toyota says they also re-designed the 2013 Venza's lower grille, fog lamps and taillights.

For the 2013 Venza, Toyota will keep the current trim levels, as well as the current powertrains. These will include the 4-cylinder engine, the V6 unit, and both drive systems (FWD and AWD). The 3,500-lbs. maximum towing capacity will be carried over to the new version too.

The 2013 Toyota Venza LE will come as standard with Display Audio, Blind Spot Mirror, puddle lamps and side mirror turn signals. The 2013 Venza XLE will feature the Driver Memory Seat, the Reverse Tilt Outer Mirrors and the Display Audio with Navigation and the Entune multi-media system. The top of the range Venza Limited (2013) will feature LED lights, a HDD navigation system, Entune and JBL.
