Toyota FT 86 II Teaser Video

 »  »  »

Even though the FT-86 II had its debut at the Geneva auto show this year, Toyota released today a new teaser video, in anticipation of the concept's appearance at this year's IAA show in Frankfurt. Toyota FT-86 II is the product of the collaboration between The Japanese car maker and Subaru. The platform of the FT-86 II is also used for the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ, which is also expected to debut at the 2011 Frankfurt auto show. All three cars are powered by the same 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated boxer engine developed by Subaru, and have a front-engine rear-wheel-drive architecture.

With shamelessly aggressive styling and a driver's car architecture, the Toyota FT-86 II is set to become a market success.

The FT-86 II however, still has some steps to take before going into production.

Even if you're not able to drive one on public roads yet, you can still enjoy Toyota's latest teaser video, which is available below.
