This is the 2014 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet prototype, which was recently auctioned for no less than 200,000 USD. The funds are going to be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The new and anonymous owner of the 2014 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet prototype how has a NHRA-legal vehicle and he's now an honorary member of Team Mustang with full backstage passes to the Ford Product Development Center, Ford Design Studios and Ford Racing. The new 2014 Mustang Cobra Jet is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, which is mated to a T4 racing transmission. Ford's new Mustang Cobra Jet (2014) comes equipped with a traction wheelie bar, an 8.50 ET certified chrome-moly safety cage, branded Weld wheels, and a three-link rear suspension.

Ford also equips the 2014 Cobra Jet with lightweight racing brakes, a 9-inch rear axle, and custom Recaro seats.

This particular 2014 Cobra Jet Mustang comes with an orange satin finish and dark gray stripes.
